Fruit Season in Tenom, Sabah

Take a drive from Kota Kinabalu to the town of Tenom in the interior of Sabah. It is now fruit season. Many local fruits mainly durian, manggis, langsat, rambutan and mangoes are in season. You can find many fruits in the fruit orchards and markets. You can visit the many locally owned orchards to pick your own fruits from the trees. Also, enjoy the nice drive past the Crocker Range with the temperature dropping to almost 16 degrees Celsius at the peak. Also enjoy local cuisine away from the usual tourist spots. We suggest to try a local coffee shop, Kedai Kopi Yun Soon, owned by long time Tenom resident. The serve a nice cup of local Tenom Kopi O’ and amazing Beef Noodle Soup.
